♥ A song you’re sick of

Not sure if I can say I’m sick of this song, because I never really liked it, I just always thought it was super annoying.

♥ Your room

I’m guessing this means my bedroom, but since I’m an adult my bedroom is just a room for sleeping, not very exciting. But since I have to I’ll show you anyway! This is definetly the sadest room in our apartment, probably because we haven’t bothered putting any money into it. I desperately want a new bed and some more stuff to make it more inviting, but that’s on hold until we find a new place to live. We were never planning on staying here very long anyway. As you can see Edward sleeps here too, and he will atleast until he turns one. I do love listening to him breathing and sighing when I’m trying to sleep.

Summer!

It feels like summer has arrived in Bergen this weekend. We’ve had the most amazing weather these last couple of days, and I have definetly been taking advantage of it! Since people in Bergen usually don’t trust positive weather reports, we were caught by surprise and had to rush to the pharmacy to pick up some sun block for Edward.

Today we took Edward out for his first picnic. We got some lunch and ice cream, and lounged in a park in the city center. It was crazy hot, but so nice. When I first got pregnant, this is how I pictured having a family would be. I did let him taste a tiny bit of ice cream, and it’s obvious that he has inhertited his sweet tooth from his parents because he keeps wanting more! Don’t worry, I don’t let him have more, it’s only to taste.

Hoping everyone is enjoying this amazing weather as much as we are!

♥ Something you’re afraid of

My absolutely biggest fear in life is losing my family. Before I had Edward I wasn’t that afraid of dying, I knew it was a part of life, but now there’s this constant fear that Edward would have to grow up without his mommy. And I don’t know how we would make it if we lost hubs. The absolute worst would be losing Edward of course, and parents aren’t suppost to bury their children. I know that we would life a good life with just one parent, but I probably wouldn’t survive without my little baby boy. I'm almost starting to cry just writing this, so I’m gonna stop now. You get the picture.

Eurovision Song Contest 2013

Eurovision is a big night for me, and I look forward to it for ages! I prefer heading to a party and getting drunk (preferably with my BFF as well!) but today I decided hubs and I should stay at home and make it a date night instead of one of us heading out and one staying at home. We dressed up, made cocktails and voted for our favorites of course!

My faves were Norway, Sweden, UK and Finland, but I had Belgium as the nights winner. Of course it was fun to have our neighbour, Denmark, win though.

♥ 5 things you want

So I do have everything I really want in life (I have to say that right?), I have a home, someone to love and a beautiful son.

1. To own a home. We are desperate to buy our own home as soon as possible, preferably a house. We want more room where we can grow our family, and we want the safety of owning the place you live. A garden where Edward could play wouldn’t be that bad either!

2. A bigger family. I want atleast one more baby, and I don’t want to wait too long either. I would really love to have a girl so I can buy her tons of pretty pink dresses, but I can see our family with two little adorable boys. But who can say in advance when our family is complete?

3. To marry the love of my life. Obviously! And I want to before we have another baby. I feel like I’ve been waiting for that diamond ring FOREVER!

4. More money! I like things, this can’t be a surprise.

5. To visit the Maldives. It just looks like heaven on earth, and it’s the number one place I’ve always wanted to visit! When we can afford it and find the time, I want to make it the trip of a lifetime for hubby and I.

17. mai

Congratulations all Norwegians! For those of you that don’t know, today is our constitutional day and celebrated by everyone. Since this is another first for Edward, we decided to just keep it simple and not go to any parties. We had another couple over for a big breakfast, and then we took a little trip downtown to get some ice cream (a tradition for just about anyone!). I think half of Bergen were downtown, and it was a little too much for Edward so we went home just the three of us and had a little BBQ before putting Edward to bed. Did you do anything special?

♥ Your cellphone ♥

Behold my beloved BlackBerry! You will not see me sporting anything with a touch screen, I may be one of the few people that absolutely hate them. Right now I have a Bold 9780, but I reaaaaally want the new Q10 that is coming out right now. Should I splurge and get it? It looks so hot! Anyone else out there have BBs?

Littlephant

It’s that same old story. Girl goes to buy t-shirt, girl stops by baby department, girl spends loads of money on pretty things. I went a little berserk at Lindex today. I’ve been eyeing their Littlephant collection, designed by Camilla Lundsten, for ages and today I caved. But look at these clothes, aren’t they to die for? They’re still a bit big for Edward, but he’ll look adorable in them come fall.

♥ A picture of your handwriting

Now this is kind of embarassing for me! One would think all girls have naturally beautiful penmanship, men then you have girls like me that never really bothered when we were learning it in school. And now here I am, a grown woman with handwriting like a teenage boy. Thank god for computers! This isn’t even that bad for me, but it was the first I could find which is our list of dinners this week (we only shop once a week and plan everything ahead of time to save time and money).
